Kazuma Goto (1986) / bass-baritone
Japanese Bass-Baritone Kazuma Goto joined the Dutch National Opera Academy in 2015.
He studied in Kunitachi college of music in Tokyo, he was member of the opera studio at the New National Theatre Tokyo 2009-2012, during which time his roles included Simone (Gianni Schicchi), Don Inigo Gomez (L’heure espagnole), Norton (La cambiale di Matrimonio), Martino (L’occhasione fa il ladro), and Pistola (Falstaff). In 2012-2013, he went abroad to study in London, during which time he had been as a guest singer in the Jett Parker Young Artist Programme. His operatic repertory includes Colline (La bohème), and Angelotti (Tosca). Concert repertory includes Rossini’s Petite Messe solennelle, and Beethoven’s Symphony No.9.
