Melanie Rubingh / Coordinator

Born in a family of professional musicians Melanie got infected with the love of music at an early age. While singing and acting belonged to her great passions, her connecting and structured nature did not lead to a performing, but to an organizational career. After her education in Social Works - Arts and Education, Melanie worked as a Production Manager at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam for several years, where she had the opportunity to work together with many famous artists from both the classical - as well as the lighter music genre. Her work as a Project Manager a.i. for NedPhO GO!, the Education and Outreach department of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, offered the opportunity to experience the cultural field from the orchestral perspective. The inspiring environment of Dutch National Opera Academy brings personal passion and experience together perfectly: Next to her work at DNOA Melanie sings in various ensembles, is active as a musical-amateur, and is taking a course to become a voice-over professional.
